Adam & I just celebrated our second anniversary. I am continually in awe of how fast time is passing!!

Even though I have doubts that any one still checks in here, I thought what the heck, I might as well put it up.


Little one is due sometime between Jan 22 - Feb 19, 2010.
So far all is well, we heard the heart beat last week but have not had any ultrasounds yet (we will be going in September to see if we can find out the gender and make sure there's only one in there).

I hope any of you who are reading this will be as eager to share in our upcoming bundle of joy!

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of our lives in the past year. I can't believe it's been a year already!!! How time flies. :)

It's been a fantastic year and we're both looking forward to many many more happy years together.

And FYI - of all the pages in the guestbook, 5 people said something about having kids. Rest assured that we are working on it, just have encountered some challenges. Check back for updates (not weekly!!).

10 month update (Aug 1, 2008): As we will be trying to start a family in the near future and the makers of this website are working on a related project for children, please stay tuned for updates! If they get the new sites up before we have kids, I will be creating a family page there. If not, I'll use this one. Either way, please stay tuned. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came and shared our day with us. It was fantastic, beautiful and totally everything we could have ever wanted.

The ceremony went off fantastically, even though the view was obscured by the clouds--which was actually better for the pictures. We have to do a little bit of editing to the video as we lost a line of the ceremony (audio glitch), but within a few days we should be able to create copies of the video for anyone who wants one. Please email one of us with your preferences for DVD or VHS (or send us a blank version of whatever you prefer), and we'd be more than happy to give you a copy.

The reception couldn't have been better. :) We were a little worried about the 600 Nigerians across the hall, but they were fantastic, some of them came to dance with us in their traditional outfits (I hope someone took pictures!), and though their security was tight, they even allowed us to take our Conga line into their party! The DJ was great and kept the party hopping all night. I saw people dancing I didn't think I'd see out on the floor, and I didn't see any unhappy visitors at all. I hope that everyone had as good a time as they seemed to be having.

Our professional photos from the ceremony should be back in a couple weeks and we hope to have some preliminary photos in from our 2 student photographers this week or next. In the meantime, in the next couple of hours we will be loading some photos up from a couple of digital cameras that were at the ceremony and reception for your viewing pleasure. Please check out the photo albums for pictures!! (And if you were there and took pictures, please send us a copy!)

Most importantly, we got married!!!!!! We couldn't be happier about sharing our future with each other, and are looking forward to all the wonderful things that we get to share together. Keep watching here for updates or a link to a new page for our new family.
